2004 to 2007 Meetings

2008 MGS Meeting Schedule

The MGS holds bimonthly club meetings at the Bowie Community Center in Bowie, MD. Meetings are open to the general public and are free. Meetings start at 11:00 a.m. and run until 3:00 p.m. The format of the meetings usually contains about an hour or so of what I call "show-and-tell" where folks bring in specimens (ie. teeth, bones, rocks, etc.) for help with identification. Some of our members normally in attendance are from the professional Paleotological and/or Geological community, and are more than happy to help with ID'ing your specimens. There is usually a theme for each meeting, as well a guest speaker or lecture. Below is a link to the Bowie Community Center along with the address and telephone number. Below you will find a table showing the scheduled dates for each meeting.
